It is probably true that life begins at forty, but sometimes life ends at forty, o di kaya ang buhay pag-sapit natin sa edad na forty kadalasan ay isang buhay na punong puno ng karamdaman. Marami na tayong nararamdaman sa katawan tulad ng pananakit ng likod, paninikip ng dibdib, sikmura, pananakit ng mga binti, kasu-kasuan, pagkakaroon ng hypertentions, palpitations at kung ano-ano pa.

In his book called Building Vital Health, Henry James Cayetano said:
“ There is just no end to the list of indispositions which plague the human race today. Many people spend their HEALTH to gain WEALTH, and later on, spend all their WEALTH in a desperate effort to regain HEALTH. For one discovers after working like a dog and saving like an ant for 25 years that he must, in all probability, retire with all his precious time and money in the local hospital, in a mental institution, or worse, in the funeral parlor.”

Siguro panahon na para bigyan natin ng pansin kung paano ba natin mapapangalagaan ang ating katawan at mapanatiling malusog ang ating katawan. Responsibilidad nating alamin at malaman ang mga bagay bagay ukol sa kalusugan ng ating katawan.

The Lord is not pleased with IGNORANCE in regard to his laws, either natural or spiritual. We are to be workers together with God for the restoration of health to the body as well as to the soul.

Ang katawan kasi natin ay templo ng Diyos. “Hindi ba ninyo nalalaman na kayo ay isang templo ng Diyos, at ang Espiritu ng Diyos ay nananahan sa inyo? Kung gibain ng sinuman ang templo ng Diyos, siya ay gigibain ng Diyos; sapagkat ang templo ng Diyos ay banal, na ang templong ito ay kayo.” (I Cor.3:16, 17).

We are God’s workmanship and the Scriptures declare that we are fearfully and wonderfully made (Ps. 139:14) It is not possible for us to glorify God while living in violation of the laws of life and health.

God wants us to apply the principles of health to our lives daily in order to prevent disease and maintain our health.

“Many have expected that God would heal their sickness simply because they have ask him to do so. But God does not regard the prayers of some because their faith was not made perfect by works. God will not work a miracle to keep those from sickness who have no care for themselves, but are continually violating the laws of health, and make no effort to PREVENT DESEASE. When we do all on our part to have health, then we may expect that the blessed results will follow, and we can ask God in faith to bless our efforts for the preservation of health.”
